Welcome to the 3rd Annual Angola Balloons Aloft Official website.  The Event Committee is planning another exciting year with some amazing entertainment in the sport of hot air balloons and aviation.   So plan now to attend Angola Balloons Aloft on July 6 and 7, 2012 in Angola, Indiana.  Check out this year's schedule (although still tentative) on the "Schedule Tab" listed above.  This is a totally free event due to the generosity of our event Sponsors.  Please check them out under the tab "Our Sponsors."

The balloon pilots returning to Angola this year are some of the area's finest pilots and will be competing for cash and prizes in this annual invitational while they fill the sky with their dazzling sight of colorful balloons.  Other entertainment for 2012 will include skydiving, remote controlled aerial displays, Children's Fun Fair and lots of great food vendors.   Weather conditions permitting, there will be launches on Friday evening, Saturday morning and Saturday evening with nighttime illuminations scheduled on both Friday and Saturday evenings.   The event will also be introducing special shaped balloons in the 2012 lineup.  
  
This year Angola Balloons Aloft has chosen the following two Steuben County organizations:  Project Help's "Back To School" program an organization which helps the under-resourced and Faith Community Health Clinic which serves the medical needs of the uninsured, to be the designated Steuben County charities for 2012.  Proceeds from the event will be donated between these two groups.
